Started a Business
I am very thankful that I lived out my dreams of becoming a Dental Hygienist. Most of the time I find myself looking for different hobbies that I can do in my free time. Scrolling Pinterest one night, I saw a Pin about side hustles. Decided to take a deep dive and created my very own website and started a business.

Pinterest Virtual Assistant
Starting a business sounded absolutely crazy to me. I came across a Pinterest Virtual Assisting side hustle and it sounded like what I was looking for.
Tara Guidry PVA was created! I get to help businesses big or small grow & market their business products by creating Pins and word banks using SEO to ensure that their business is attracting millions of new customers.
While growing my own audiences and followers I learned that gaining new clients would come from Pins I have created & promoted, and BLOGGING.

Launched a Blog
After all the second guessing, anxieties, and doubts about my business and PVA services, I dove even deeper into the adventure of blogging! All or nothing am I right? I started writing my first blog post in March of 2025 and published in April! Excited for the upcoming months! Stay tuned after my “About Me” story for a sneak peek into the future…
I will never hang up the towel on Dental Hygiene, but I am thrilled to start my Business and run a Blog…
So, cheers to a new chapter in my book of life!
I just KNEW I was going to be a dental hygienist since I was in the 8th grade… How crazy is that??! Think about being in the 8th grade and having a clear-cut path of your future already set. Most people graduate college and still don’t know what they want to be when they grow up. (Spoiler alert- you have time to figure it out!)
People always ask me “how do you dig in people’s mouth’s all day long… ewww!” My answer is always the same: I was the weird kid that LOVED going to the dentist when I was younger, so it was a no brainer for me. I was lucky to have made my mind up so early.
My best friend growing up hated brushing her teeth or losing a tooth, so she would always have me pull her baby teeth when she was scared. I still thank her mom for telling me that I should be a Dental Hygienist when I grew up, because that’s exactly what I did.
As soon as I could research exactly what a Dental Hygienist was on my flip phone, I IMMEDIATELY became interested in the field. Y’all remember those bell ringers you had to journal in your books until the bell rang, and it was time for class? The topic in one of my classes was what our bucket list was… GUESS WHAT?! In 8th grade at the top of the list was to become a “dental hygentist” (wanted to be one even though I couldn’t spell it at the time) LOL
I have learned so much in the past 3 years than I ever have in my entire life!! Regarding a job/ career, life, people in general… Most importantly I learned exactly who I wanted to be.
Soon I fell in love with Dental Hygiene again. I had so much support from my family and friends to keep going. I really said, “my bad y’all, I didn’t know that literally everything was going to just fine.”
Don’t mind me, I just had to worry about everything real quick…
I no longer yearned for the opinions of hundreds of other people. Quickly I learned that the negativity did not have an influence over my life like it used to. I like to think of 2023-2024 was my year of healing!
When 2025 came around I felt so inspired, and I wanted a “hobby” that would keep me busy in a more creative way. I came across a Pinterest Virtual Assistant on the Pinterest app and knew that’s what’s next.”
